A) What we do:
To achieve the eradication of violence it is necessary to work in all areas of our cultural environment. In that sense, we create working areas for the identification of this social problem, trying to create social awareness prevention and spreading knowledge about what gender violence is.
"Until the murder of a woman arouses the same social rejection as a murder connected with political terrorism, gender violence will not yet cross the border from being considered a public problem instead of a private problem..”.
PREVENTION. It is necessary to connect with young people in order to offer them some means of identifying and preventing abusive relationships. The Mass Media environment conveys some cultural and social instructions that normalize those abusive attitudes.
REFLEXION. We must think and rethink the relationships that lead to violence. Along with other women, and some men, we question the essence of this relationship model.
AWARENESS. The social consciousness about the existence of gender violence in the couple and family relationship is essential to go on with its eradication.
DISCLOSURE. Knowing the extent of the gender violence, the difficulty of the recovery process and the various origins of gender violence in relationships helps to put oneself in a position to prevent it going on forever.
